Important Client Notice - Technical issues!

We are sorry to say that we are experiencing a number of technical issues currently due to outdated Power Distribution Wires on Dickens Lane. It's not a surprise considering they were erected in 1957!

However, this does mean that our phones and internet are often affected, and the fix is not able to be completed for approximately two weeks by the council! So, please bear with us whilst our staff work hard and relentlessly to try and accommodate the best service possible while we await the replacement equipment to be installed.

Our phones are required to be diverted Out of Hours to Vets Now in Macclesfield overnight for True Emergencies from 6:30pm through to 8:00am and after 3:00pm on Saturday until we open again on the Monday morning. In case of a serious Emergency the direct phone line to Vets Now is 01625 348284, otherwise do call the clinic on 01625 850086 as normal.

We can only apologise for all the possible inconvenience this may cause but be reassured we will be working hard to provide the service all our pets deserve, and we would like to provide!

An announcement from Clinical Director David Hunt

"After 25 years serving Poynton and Stockport communities and many happy memories I have, in consequence of recent health issues combined with the advent of COVID-19, decided to retire from veterinary work.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenges  and also the friendships I have developed both within the workforce (past and present) and the client base and thank you all for the support you have given me and the practice.

I am confident you are in safe hands and hope you will continue to enjoy the care and attention which two generations of Hunts have instilled in the culture of the practice."
